About me
Saltare Sounds was originally formed to perform at the Ocrafolk Festival two years ago and has since grown into a cohort of interdisciplinary artists based around the world. Co-founded by violinist Luca Kevorkian, the group includes Elijah Wilson on violin, Georges Mefleh on viola, Erica Kremer on cello, and Louis Arques on clarinet. The festival has been an important space for exploration and collaboration for Saltare, shaping the group’s evolving identity and artistic direction. On their third Ocrafolk appearance, they return with a new, fully musical configuration, featuring sets that explore the connections between classical chamber repertoire and folk traditions from cultures around the world.
